    FEATS OF THE WEEK: Senior center Kevin Love (UCLA) scored 38 points and grabbed 28 rebounds to lead No. 13 Lake Oswego, Ore., to a 60-48 win at Portland, Lincoln. Love, the No. 1-rated recruit in the country by ESPN, had 15 points and eight rebounds in the first quarter . . . Senior guard Derrick Rose (Memphis) dished out an event-record 12 assists in No. 8 Chicago, Simeon's 79-49 rout of Champaign Central at the Marshall County Hoopfest in Benton, Ky. Senior forward Kevin Johnson (Wis.-Milwaukee) led the Wolverines in scoring with 24 . . . No. 2 Lakewood, Calif., Artesia defeated crosstown rival Mayfair, 74-57, to claim the Pacific Shores Tournament championship in Redondo Beach. Arizona St.-bound senior guard James Harden scored 27 points and was named tournament MVP. Super soph forward Renardo Sidney chipped in 22 points . . . Duke-bound senior forward Taylor King scored 33 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as No. 5 Santa Ana, Calif., Mater Dei blasted tournament host Cerritos, Gahr, 105-61 . . . Senior guard Eric Gordon (Indiana) scored 32 points in No. 21 Indianapolis, North Central's 91-47 rout of Broad Ripple . . . Defending Prep Poll champion Indianapolis, Lawrence North beat Marion, 77-75, in double-overtime. It was the Wildcats' state-record 49th consecutive win. Senior forward Damian Windham (uncommitted) scored 25 points.
